Recently one of the premier scholars on Vampires and Vampirism in the United States wrote Author Don Ecker. That scholar is Dr. J. Gordon Melton. J. Gordon Melton has the credentials: he's a religious historian, author of 25 books about religion and vampires, president of the American chapter of the Transylvania Society of Dracula (founded in Bucharest, Romania), and chairman of the committee that put on Dracula '97: A Centennial Celebration in Los Angeles. He has had a lifetime fascination with the "undead."

Subject: Past Sins The Novel

 Just a short note to say that I finally found a few moments to read Past Sins. It was quite a good novel. I like the type--mixing vampires and action adventure formats. It was well written and the ending not predictable to the very end.

 I go to China on Friday next. I will try to post a review before I go, but if not, certainly soon after I return.
